Here are highlights from Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer (CO) reports for the week ending Nov. 30, 2015. The complete report is available here.
Persistence paid off for CO Don Bozovsky (Hibbing) when an archery hunter finally showed up at a baited site after the officer spent three weeks checking it. The 50 pounds of corn earned the hunter a citation for hunting over bait, for no blaze orange, and his bow was seized.
CO Randy Posner (Brainerd) investigated a complaint of road hunters in the Pillsbury area.
