DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) – A Des Moines man has been sentenced to prison time for illegally hunting a deer in 2012.
Christopher Ryan King, 34, was sentenced Tuesday to two 30-day prison terms in connection to the illegal hunting of a whitetail buck deer and the making of a false statement.
King did not disclose hunting violations on an application to hunt. They say he later shot a whitetail buck deer in an area in Des Moines County that was closed to hunting.
King was ordered to serve three years of supervised release and to pay
$10,000 in restitution.
