TAUNTON – Bill Henderson’s day of hunting began with his teaching his son how to use a bow safely and set up his new tree stand properly before setting up his own tree stand and waiting for an animal to come along.
But the day ended abruptly when Henderson’s rope holding his tree stand suddenly snapped and Henderson plummeted 25 feet to the ground.
Bill Henderson has slowly been recovering since his accident on Oct. 1 but is still in the hospital and continues to have surgeries.
