SABINE PARISH – Anthony W. Sepulvado, 46, is dead following a hunting accident Sunday afternoon.
Sepulvado was hunting with two friends in the Belmont area south of Pleasant Hill. They split up to trail a wounded deer.
The men spaced themselves about 50-yards apart in an attempt to flush out the deer. It jumped up to run and a shot was fired.
Sepulvado was struck by a round from a 12-gauge shotgun, Rivers said.
