The bow hunter who fell from a deer stand died from injuries suffered from the 20-foot fall, according to his family.
The body of Jason Myers, 33, was found at the base of a tree stand Oct. 7.
Myers was hunting deer on his parents’ property between the city of Albemarle and the town of Badin.
