FARMLAND, Ind. – A hunter was injured Saturday in a fall from a deer stand, state conservation officers said.
Seth Davis, 31, climbed his stand to hunt whitetail deer when one of the ratchet straps holding the stand to the tree broke.
Davis fell 18 feet to the ground. He was taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, by air ambulance for treatment of what were not believed to be life-threatening injuries.
