COSHOCTON – Authorities said a turkey hunter was accidentally shot from behind Saturday morning in Newcastle Township.
James Snipp, 53, was transported Saturday by medics from the Coshocton County Emergency Medical Service to Knox Community Hospital suffering from an accidental gunshot wound inflicted by some form of birdshot fired from a shotgun.
The person who shot him didn’t know he was there.
