WILLIAMSTOWN – Michael Pontier, 50, was seriously injured Monday in what may have been a turkey hunting accident.
Pontier was shot near Hopper Road in Williamstown. The shooter is cooperating with investigators.
Monday was the first day of hunting season for wild turkey in Massachusetts.
