A Big Piney hunter is being investigated for allegedly shooting a large, unusual mule deer buck out of season, and then displaying it at the 2016 Hunting Expo in Salt Lake City.
Wyoming Game and Fish Department game wardens filed an affidavit Tuesday stating Nathan Strong admitted to shooting the well-known, non-typical mule deer out of season with a white-tailed deer tag.
A non-typical deer is one with unusual antlers with multiple points coming off other points.
