The House Appropriations Committee released their proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Interior and Environment spending bill. This bill includes provisions that would remove gray wolves from the federal Endangered Species List (p.73 line 10)
Sec. 125 would delist gray wolves nationwide, stripping them of much-needed federal protections at a time when wolves and other wildlife need the most protections. The bill would also ban judicial review, meaning the decision would block any court challenges.
Please contact your representative and urge them to oppose section 125 and keep gray wolves protected.
