Man shot in leg from a hunting accident NEW WINDSOR – A man was shot in the leg from a hunting accident at Stewart State Forest Sunday, state Department of Environmental Conservation Police confirmed.
The accident occurred around 8:53 a.m. Sunday in the area of Maple Avenue and Route 207. The man was helicoptered to a hospital. The incident is under investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
