Hunter accidentally shoots himself in stomach; bullet removal too risky
A hunter in Miller County, Ark., accidentally shot himself in the stomach while trying to cross a fence Tuesday morning, officials said.
Miller County Sheriff’s officials were called to property off County Road 183 near Doddridge, Ark. There, they discovered 20-year-old Jessie Miller of Shreveport, La., with a through-and-through gunshot wound to his stomach, said Lt. Duke Schofield.
Miller and a friend were visiting his aunt and uncle in Doddridge when the pair decided to go hunting hogs in the woods behind the house.
