Hunter charged with killing alligators, turkey

A Little River County, Ark., man was charged with killing three alligators and a turkey out of season in Little River County, said Arkansas Game & Fish Lt. Jackie Runion.

Charles E. Milam Jr., 33, of Winthrop, Ark., faces two counts of hunting wildlife in a closed season and violating tagging requirements.

The counts Milam faces are based on three slain alligators, said Sgt. Mark Kennemore, who made the arrest with the help of Wildlife Officer Blake Broomfield.
