3 Nebraskans cited for using spotlight on hunt
KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) – Three Nebraska men were cited for using a spotlight to help them shoot raccoons and geese in southwest Kearney.
Authorities say a Kearney police officer spotted them around 10 p.m. Tuesday night near Yanney Heritage Park.
The Kearney Hub says 2 of the men also were cited for hunting without a permit.
The animal carcasses were taken as evidence and turned over to Nebraska Game and Parks Commission officials.
