Calvert County Hunting arrest in Huntington
Two Anne Arundel County men were arrested by Natural Resources Police for spotlighting deer in Calvert County late last month.
On Nov. 22 at 7:15 p.m. the two men, plus a Calvert County man, were charged with “casting rays of light with a weapon in possession” or “jacklighting” and possession of a loaded weapon in a vehicle after NRP officers saw them shooting at a deer near Huntington.
Police seized a loaded .30-06 Ruger rifle, a Remington 1100 shotgun, a spotlight and a whitetail deer. Anthony James Cullember, 38, of Shady Side and Jerome Owen Cullember, 41, of Deale, plus Patrick Arthur Hand, 62, of Huntington were charged.
