Calif. men sentenced for poaching deer in SD

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) – Three hunters from California have been sentenced for poaching a deer in South Dakota.
KGFX radio reports that Paul Langslet, Lorin Galassy and Phil Bertanzoni all pleaded guilty to hunting game out of season.
They each were fined $500 and sentenced to serve a day in jail. They also lose their hunting privileges for a year.
Authorities say the deer was killed west of Agar in Sully County last month.
