Hunters accused of hunting deer at night

BERRIEN COUNTY, GA (WALB) – Two hunters are accused of illegally hunting deer at night in Berrien County.

Neighbors heard gun shots around two Monday morning.

When deputies got to Parker Chapel Road, they stopped a truck and noticed it had blood in the back.

As they questioned the driver, 19 year old Lendon Baker of Tifton, another hunter, 19 year old Bobby Huggins of Mcclenny, Florida came out of the woods.

Police say the teens admitted killing two deer.

They’re charged with possession of illegally taken wildlife, hunting from a vehicle, hunting big game from public road and hunting deer at night.
