On Tuesday, December 4, Michigan State Police in Lakeview took a call from a Greenville family reporting that a 48-year-old hunter had called and reported that he was lost in a swamp and needed help.
They did not know where he was, but a former hunting partner provided a possible location in the Pigeon River Area in Cheboygan County.
The hunter was located about one mile off the road in Nunda Township, Cheboygan County. He was cold and dehydrated but otherwise ok.
