The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating a possible shooting incident that occurred this afternoon in Jupiter Farms.
At about 4:15 p.m., a 22-year-old man was walking his dog in the Hungryland Wildlife and Environment Area when he heard what he described as a popping sound, FWC spokeswoman Carli Segelson said.
The man sustained a wound to his left index finger Segelson said. He went to the Jupiter Medical Center to have a fragment removed from the finger, she said.
