IN: Hunter injured in 20-foot fall from tree stand in Harrison County

A Memphis, Ind., man was injured Thursday morning when he fell about 20 feet from a tree stand while hunting deer in Harrison County, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources said.

Conservation officers and emergency workers responded about 9:45 a.m. to a wooded area on private property near the 3100 block of German Ridge Road just outside Corydon.

Randall Edwards Jr., 37, sustained multiple fractures and lower back injuries, the agency said.
