The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office was called for a rescue Monday morning.
Reportedly, the hunter was in a remote area around Apache Maid when he injured his leg in a fall and also was not prepared for the cold area.
The hunter carried a GPS and was able to provide his coordinates to rescue crews and was taken to the hospital.
