HOLLAND – We’re working to get more information on a shooting involving a young teenager that took place on Monday.
The incident happened just north of Holland in the mid-morning. Bell County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the area and arrived to find a male juvenile with injury to his shoulder. The shooting resulted in significant injury to the 15-year-old, who is now undergoing surgery.
The circumstances of the shooting are unclear at this moment, but it may have been due to a hunting accident.
