BILOXI, MS (WLOX) – A tragic boating accident has claimed the life of a 54-year-old man.
Broadus said Mark Barhanovich was fishing early Sunday morning near Deer Island.
It appears his boat struck a submerged object off the eastern tip of Deer Island shortly before 6:30 a.m.
Barhanovich died from his injuries.
