MS: Miss. man appeals hunting ban from Trace incident

ABERDEEN, Miss. (AP) — The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports that J. Bradley Pounds was convicted in August of four offenses related to National Park Service citations that he hunted at night with headlights during open season for deer along the Natchez Trace Parkway.

Pounds was ordered to to pay a $2,850 fine, was issued a three-year hunting ban, and had to surrender hunting license. Pounds was found guilty of spotlighting, hunting from a roadway, open alcohol container in his vehicle and littering.
