Badeaux: It Was A Mistake

THIBODAUX, La. – Outdoorsmen said an accusation against a Thibodaux councilman is the ultimate wrongdoing a hunter can do.

However, feathers are still ruffled with wildlife investigators who are handling the case.

Badeaux said he was given a citation in December 2011 on accusations of shooting too many ducks.

According to the state wildlife laws, during duck season, hunters can only shoot and bag six ducks. However, sources told the WDSU I-Team that Badeaux was more than 50 ducks over his limit.
