VIDALIA, La. (AP) – The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says three 23-year-olds from the Baton Rouge area are accused of spotlighting and other hunting violations, including driving an ATV with oversized tires on a wildlife management area.

The department says Jordan Brister, of Prairieville and Richard Magee and Justin Durand, both of Denham Springs, were cited Feb. 17 at the Three Rivers Wildlife Management Area, in the southern tip of Concordia Parish.

Department spokesman Adam Einck says agents on night patrol saw an all-terrain vehicle from which three people were shining a spotlight on fields and wood lines. It says the agents confiscated the ATV, the spotlight, and a loaded 30-06 center-fire rifle.
