GALLIA COUNTY, OH – It’s the beginning of hunting season in Ohio and already there have been several reported accidents and the sheriff’s department is looking into what lead to the death of one hunter early Monday morning.

A hunter had been found injured in a tree stand. When deputies arrived on scene they found Larry Bradley dead of an apparent gunshot wound. Bradley was hunting on private property in Morgan Township. Browning said he was hunting on private property at the time.

On Tuesday, another hunting accident occurred in Gallia County, OH. Ralph Hutchinson, 66, was carrying a deer on the front of his ATV as he was making his way home when he flipped over. He had it on his four-wheeler and the four-wheeler went frontward and on top of him.

Hutchinson had lacerations across his body and appeared to have a broken shoulder and arm.
