HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Three Broadwater County men have pleaded guilty to various charges involving the killing of two bull elk.
70-year-old Arnold Kolberg and 36-year-old Ronnie Nehring pleaded guilty Monday with unlawful possession of a game animal and obstructing justice for concealing an elk in a hay stack.
Twenty-nine-year-old Skyler Kolberg, Arnold Kolberg’s grandson, pleaded guilty to hunting without a license, unlawful possession of a game animal, and for conspiracy to obstruct justice. Arnold Kolberg’s rifle didn’t have a serial number.
