A Town of Hartland juvenile shot himself in the foot while hunting on his grandfather’s property Saturday in Gasport.
The 15-year-old was walking to a vehicle when he set his 12-gauge shotgun against a tree, which fell to the ground. As he picked the gun up off of the ground he grabbed it near the trigger, and accidentally discharged pellets into his right foot.
