MOUNDVILLE, Alabama — A Tuscaloosa County man is fighting for his life at UAB after accidentally shooting himself with a rifle, investigators in Tuscaloosa said Monday morning.
The wounded man, 57, told his nighbor that he was removing a hunting rifle from the back seat of his vehicle and accidentally fired the weapon, striking himself in his lower right abdomen.
