SITKA, Alaska — The Coast Guard rescued a stranded hunter from the Carmel Mountain area near Sitka Wednesday.
A Coast Guard helicopter crew transferred John Delong, 69, to Air Station Sitka where waiting medical personnel checked him for signs of hypothermia.
