WINTERVILLE, N.C. – N.C. Wildlife officers are investigating after a 54-year-old man was accidentally shot while hunting in Pitt County.
Several hunters were duck hunting when one man fired his gun at a duck and the pellets ricocheted off water. Two pellets ended up striking another man in the face.
