BURNSIDE TWP. — A cell phone may have meant the difference between life and death for a deer hunter from Pontiac Sunday.
The 48-year-old man was able to call Central Dispatch on his cell phone at 5:57 p.m. after falling 20 feet from a tree stand in a woodlot on the 4700 block of Burnside Road, west of Vandyke Road.
