ALVARADO, Texas (AP) Joseph Lopez, 14, has drowned while trying to retrieve a dove that was shot during a hunting trip.
The boy was part of group hunting on Sunday in a rural area near Alvarado.
The boy entered the pond to recover a dove but then he never resurfaced.
