Transylvania County deputies say a man was killed with a bow and arrow Thursday in an area near Lyda Creek Road while he and his friend were hunting.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the body of George Harley Case Jr., 58, of Pisgah Forest.
They say a friend mistook Case for a deer and shot him with an arrow.
