TOWN OF THOMPSON – Police have arrested a Monticello man on Monday for possessing a hunting rifle that he is prohibited from having because of a prior felony conviction.
Vernon Houghtaling, 68, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.
