James L. Stillwell has been sentenced to nine years in prison for deer hunting with a rifle after being prohibited from having a gun because of prior criminal convictions, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
As part of his plea agreement, he admitted he had a gun when he was arrested while hunting Nov. 17, 2012.
