On Sunday a 24 year old man was hunting alone in the Town of Willet when he was shot in the abdomen by a 53 year old man who was also hunting alone in the area, deputies said.
Authorities say the two did not know each other and did not know the other was in the area.
The victim was airlifted to Upstate Medical in Syracuse to be treated for his injuries.
