MAURY COUNTY, TN – Marcus Yoder, 20, was injured Tuesday evening when he fell 20-feet out of a tree stand in Maury County.
Yoder landed on the ground and suffered a back injury and a broken heel bone.
There were 20 tree stand accidents in Tennessee during 2014, according to the TWRA. Only five have occurred statewide in 2015.
