CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. — A Hancock family can breathe easy this morning after a young hunter was found alive and well. Search and rescue teams found the missing teenager in the Town of North Norwich late Sunday night.

Authorities say the 13-year-old was small game hunting with his father in the area of Whaupaunaucau and Ripple roads Sunday afternoon.

Authorities are not releasing the name of the teen. He was reunited with his father shortly after being treated at the scene.
