The Manchester, N.H. many who illegally set a so-called “body-gripping” trap which killed a woman’s dog earlier this month, has been formally charged.
According to Thursday’s CBS Boston, George Klardie is facing numerous violations from the state Fish and Game Department related to the setting of the trap.
The incident which brought the illegally set trap to light took place on Dec. 5.
Melissa Fogelson had been walking in a wooded watershed area in Auburn, N.H. when her dog, “Andrew,” got his head stuck inside of the trap.
Fogelson, who was unable to free her dog from the contraption, stated: “I was right here with him, and I couldn’t get it off of him.”
