MI: Hunter falls from tree stand in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Hunting safety is in the spotlight tonight after a local man fell as he set up a tree stand.

The man fell more than 15 feet from the stand, authorities say, which was more than 300 yards from the road.

Luckily, the man only suffered minor injuries and was taken to Memorial Hospital.
