IL: Three arrested for duck poaching

VANDALIA, Ill. (AP) – Steven Dean of Granite City and Wood River residents Bradley Peters and Daniel Grove have been arrested on felony charges for allegedly poaching more than two dozen ducks in southern Illinois.

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources said Wednesday the men shot 30 ducks out of season at the Carlyle Lake Wildlife Management Area. Several ducks also were left crippled.
