ID: Hunter found dead in Clearwater County

OROFINO — A hunter who had been missing from his hunting party near Swamp Creek in Clearwater County was found dead early today, apparently the result of a vehicle accident.

The man was reported missing Tuesday afternoon following an outing on a utility vehicle.

According to the news release, the man apparently tried to climb a hill with the vehicle and it started backwards. The vehicle then turned sideways and rolled several times, throwing the man from the vehicle.
