Three men receive fines; five plead not guilty, await trials

Of the eight people associated with Whitetail Creek Outfitters at Devils Tower who stand accused of more than 150 violations of Wyoming statutes, three have received fines and forfeitures. The remaining five pled not guilty and will appear in Crook County Circuit Court in the coming weeks.

Bradley Greba has pled not guilty to 43 counts of shipping or transporting a game animal outside of Wyoming without a tag; 47 counts of outfitting without a license; seven counts of being an accessory before or after the fact; and three charges of failing to report a violation.

Richard Lemay has pled not guilty to two charges of failing to report a violation; one of transferring a license, stamp, tag or coupon; one of taking a furbearing animal without a license and 12 charges of being an accessory before or after the fact. Wade Spracher of Hulett has pled not guilty to two charges of acting as a professional guide without a license.

James Schump and Michael Brooks have each pled not guilty to ten counts of acting as a professional guide without a license.

Kimmel Evans paid total forfeiture of $1760 on one count of taking a bobcat without a license; five counts of being an accessory before or after the fact; and two counts of failure to report a violation.

Ronald Mummert paid total forfeiture of $2600 for five counts of acting as a professional guide without a license.

Timothy Freed plead guilty to four counts of being an accessory before or after the fact. Freed was fined $610.
