A 46-year-old Ralpho Township resident was injured Friday afternoon when he fell from a tree stand while hunting in a remote section of the township.

The archery hunter was identified by a relative at the scene as Chris Hager, of Center Street, Elysburg. He was taken by Elysburg Ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for injuries to his back and ribs after the 3:30 p.m. incident.
