DILLON, Mont. (AP) – Officials in Beaverhead County say a man on a duck hunt over the weekend was injured when he was hit below the eye with bird shot.

Sheriff Jay Hansen says Jason Baker of Missoula shot a duck Saturday afternoon near Dillon. While retrieving the duck, another hunter from the same party shot at a low-flying group of ducks and bird shot hit Baker just below the eye.
