MO: Hunter falls from stand, breaks leg

KIMBERLING CITY, Mo. – A man was deer hunting in Kimberling City, Mo. and feel out of a deer stand about 300 yards up from the shore line.

Due to the location of his fall, they had to go across the lake in a boat and then airlift him from the other side of the lake to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Fire fighters say the man broke his leg when he fell but he was fortunate to have a cell phone and friends with him in the woods to direct fire fighters to his exact location.
