The Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act: Civil Rights as a Casualty in Anti-Terrorism Rhetoric Tuesday, May 22, 2007 6 – 9 pm A serious setback for civil rights, the newly enacted federal Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA) risks targeting free speech advocates as terrorists even in the absence of any harm or damage, or for any loss of corporate profits. This program will address AETA’s far-reaching implications. Peter Muller will be a speaker at this seminar.

Auburn, NY Eco-Tourism DVD Wins Contest!

The crow/eco-tourism DVD produced by Citizens Respectful Of Wildlife (CROW) won a local film contest in the Public Service Announcement category. This will give us more publicity and exposure. There will be a showing of all the winning films on Saturday, June 9, at the Auburn Public Theater in downtown Auburn. If anyone is interested in coming contact me for details and directions. We hope this will be a turning point for interest in wildlife watching as a viable tourism draw. Rita Sarnicola is President of CROW. Friends of the Bears

Anne and Peter Muller of Wildlife Watch will be visiting Friends of the Bears, a bear sanctuary in Canada. Stan Pabst has the most amazing place and has been protecting bears for decades.
