Ban Bear Hunting in North Carolina

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) has ignored petitions from non-hunters to protect black bears and the public from the unchecked pattern of terrorism and abuse by bear hunters. Inadequate public meeting notice, failure to provide dedicated email addresses for public comments, and the refusal to grant disability access to meetings clearly show NCWRC bias towards bear hunters.

That’s why I created a petition to Gordon Meyers, Executive Dir. NCWRC, Jim Cogdell, Chairman of NCWRC Commissioners, and 6 others.
